How to Learn about SpaceX Starship in 3D ๐Ÿ“ท

The Starship launch vehicle is made up of the first-stage booster and the Starship second stage. The second stage functions as a self-contained spacecraft for carrying crew or cargo once in orbit.

Both stages are powered by Raptor engines that burn liquid oxygen and liquid methane propellants in a highly efficient full-flow staged combustion power cycle.

In its fully reusable configuration, Starship is planned to have a payload capacity of 150 t (330,000 lb) to low Earth orbit and is designed to be flown multiple times to spread out the cost of the spacecraft.

SpaceX founder Elon Musk reiterated his hope that his next generation space vehicle, Starship, will get off the ground soon.

NASA in 2021 picked SpaceXโ€™s Starship to land humans on the moon around 2025, for the first time since 1972. That mission, under a roughly $3 billion contract, requires several spaceflight tests in advance that could delay the 2025 moon landing mission.
