Apple Factoid: How to Record Screen in Macbook?

You can record your MacBook screen using the built-in QuickTime Player application

Here’s how:

  1. Open QuickTime Player.
  2. Go to File > New Screen Recording.
  3. Click the down arrow next to the record button to choose the recording options, such as microphone audio and screen recording area.
  4. Click the record button to start the recording.
  5. When you’re finished, click the stop button in the menu bar or press Command + Control + Esc.

The recording will be saved as a movie file in your Movies folder. You can then edit or share the recording as needed.

Alternatively, you can use third-party software such as Loom, Camtasia, or Snagit for more advanced recording and editing features.
