You can record your MacBook screen using the built-in QuickTime Player application
Here’s how:
- Open QuickTime Player.
- Go to File > New Screen Recording.
- Click the down arrow next to the record button to choose the recording options, such as microphone audio and screen recording area.
- Click the record button to start the recording.
- When you’re finished, click the stop button in the menu bar or press Command + Control + Esc.

The recording will be saved as a movie file in your Movies folder. You can then edit or share the recording as needed.
Alternatively, you can use third-party software such as Loom, Camtasia, or Snagit for more advanced recording and editing features.
